Reviews
Four of us went to Gom Shabu for lunch. The ambiance is modern and clean. There is plenty of seating and it wasn't busy on Wednesday afternoon. We ordered their lunch special and each of us ordered a different meat/seafood. So we had chicken, seafood, beef brisket and pork. Each order came with a choice of noodles and a big portion of vegetables. We got our individual pot with our chosen broth. There is a sauce bar where we can make our dipping sauce. They provided good quality meat and fresh vegetables. Our waitress was attentive. The beef brisket was my favorite. We all enjoyed the hot pot.
Options were good and give really good variety compared to others. We had Mala and Tonkatsu broth. They have wide variety of sauces, vegetables and meat (including seafood) The service was pristine! And the place was pretty neat and organized.
The place was very clean and spacious. I like how there is a base broth and you can put different flavors in it. The sauces and meats were good, but very limited. I was disappointment that there weren't more meat or veggie options to add to my hot pot, compared to KPot with many more items.
This place continues to be my favorite hot pot spot in the area. The hotpot selections are diverse, featuring a range of broths and fresh ingredients that cater to various tastes. Whether you're a fan of savory miso or spicy kimchi broth, Gom has you covered. The high-quality cuts of meat, fresh vegetables, and handmade dipping sauces make each bite a symphony of flavors. The interactive and social aspect of hotpot dining here adds an extra layer of enjoyment. The staff is attentive and ready to assist, ensuring that even first-timers have a seamless and pleasant experience. For a memorable and customizable dining experience, Gom Shabu is a must-visit. A five-star dining adventure that leaves you craving more!
A spacious hotpot place at Annandale. Came here for lunch - $35 all you can eat, they also have $17 lunch options. Food - awesome, the all you can eat menu has a variety of selections, they bring out small dishes and you can refill as much as needed, each person gets his own pot. You can request the restaurant's special sauce or go to the sauce bar to mix it yourself. Service - fast, they have an on call button so you can ask for service easily Ambience - modern setting with kpop music blasting in the background, the restaurant is clean, restroom has changing table for young kids. Price has definitely gone up since 4 years ago. The good old days of $25 all you can eat is gone. Next time if I go back I will get the $17 option to see what they offer. Will recommend to people who love hotpot!
